Pompeii

Sorry for being all over the place with my thoughts, but here is more detail on my travels over Christmas.

On our way to Salerno to catch our night train to Catania, we made a short stop off in Pompeii to check out the lost city. We only had limited time but it was awesome. Still really hard to believe that a mountain can explode so quickly that you don't have time to get away. Vesuvius seemed so far away from the city.

We made a stop to the local brothel, where the beds were still intact and there were pictures above the rooms showing the specialties of the ladies. Nate made sure to take plenty of pics. I will post the most “decent” of them.
